What is Newtown Film Festival?

This will be the inaugural Newtown Film Festival, taking place in the heart of Newtown, CT at the Edmond Town Hall Theater, in partnership with the Newtown Arts Festival.  The objective of the festival is to bring the community together through family and youth oriented films.  The selected films will fit the theme of being family friendly and non-violent.  This festival hopes to promote the idea that stories can be told by focusing on the nature of good will.

Newtown Film Festival will be a two day long festival, featuring the films of young students as well as seasoned filmmakers. 

When is the festival?

The festival will be held October 20-21, 2017.

Who can submit a film?

The festival accepts both short and feature length films, as well as student films.  All films must be original content, and be suitable for all audiences.
